old news, here are a few interesting tidbits:

In 2009 The Art Institute of Chicago purchased my drawing and sold it as a Christmas card!  They are still available with this link  http://www.artinstituteshop.org/item.aspx?productID=3612

This is the card I drew that is for sale at The Art Institute of Chicago.

Purchasing my own art!

My dad purchasing my art!
In 2007 I participated in the SAIC fundraiser bare walls.  I didn't paint yet then, so I made a ceramic wall hanging live while the art was auctioned off.  http://my.saic.edu/events/event_photos.asp?eid=25538&id=40969  It was so fun to watch everyone paint live, I helped with the auction 4 other years as well- It was a good education on how to paint!
This is the back, maybe I didn't photograph the finished piece?
and some of my ceramic art:

porcelain teapot

In 2008 this and the piece below won 'Best in Show' at the Naperville Art League, and an honorable mention in the Oakbrook, 'Best of the Best' show.
